
Oatmeal is a great complex carbohydrate breakfast item but it is not high in protein. While there are many options for adding protein to your breakfast, making your oatmeal tastier at the same time means adding complementary items. Add this to my Recipe Box.
Instructions

Put the oatmeal and water in a microwave-safe bowl.
2Microwave on 80 percent power for two and a half minutes. Remove from the microwave and stir.
3Add the whey protein and stir well.
4Add the ground flaxseed.
5Add the dried cranberries, walnuts, brown sugar or maple syrup to taste. You also can dice a fresh peach with the peel still on it in place of the cranberries.
