
Many times people just accept the extra twenty pounds that insists on clinging to their bodies. Many people go on quick weight-loss diets only to end up fighting the hunger monster all day. To lose weight fast--at least a pound a day-- it's important to eat protein all day. By eating mostly protein and avoiding carbohydrates, it's possible to lose weight quickly and to decrease your appetite.

Eat meat, pork, fish, ham, cheese, and eggs. There are hardly any carbohydrates in eggs meat, chicken, cheese, and fish. Eat until you're full.

Use regular mayonnaise and real butter for cooking and making salads. Don't use light or low fat mayonnaise because they have carbohydrates.

Drink at least eight glasses of water every day to help flush out water weight.

Eat a lot of fresh spinach or other high-fiber vegetable. Spinach is low in carbohydrates and will help keep digestion moving. It's okay to eat spinach sauteed in butter.

Whenever you're hungry, eat a little protein. It's best to eat small amounts of protein throughout the day to keep your appetite under control.
